Red Kisses for Christmas

As soon as December hits I am all about Christmas. I love this time of year so much. Everything from Christmas trees, Michael Bublé albums and food, oh the glorious food. I always wear red lips around this time. So if you are a complete Christmas lover like I am or just want to try a new red lip, here are my top five red shades.

Spring Favourites

This past season has felt like the quickest and the busiest! I have finished uni and been working full-time. Because I have been working I have needed reliable and long-lasting products. This is what I have been loving this month.

NARS Digital World Lip Pencil Set

Oh baby! This set of lip pencils from NARS is quite possibly the best thing I have ever bought. Now I know that is a huge statement, but seriously I love these lip pencils.They are simply heaven in a beautifully packaged box.

Dry Skin Remedies

Whenever the weather changes my skin seems to have a mini freak out. This freak out usually involves my skin becoming really dry, especially in certain patches on my face. Honestly, I just find this really annoying and I want to fix my skin as quickly and with as little effort as possible. I don't always have a lot of time to fix problems with my skin and so I have managed to find a few products that help my skin quickly. Dry skin while uncomfortable can also make things like applying makeup difficult. So I wanted to share with you the products that give me the best results. 

My Top Five Popular Penguins

I am a huge fan of the Popular Penguin books. At five dollars a pop these books are affordable and because they are paperback it makes them really easy to carry around. Whenever I need a new book I usually look in the Penguin Penguins section first. Scattered through my bookshelf are numerous little orange paperbacks so I thought I would share my top five with you.

My Top Tips For A Fresh Start

Recently I have felt slightly overwhelmed. Over my uni break I had an amazing internship, it was in a high paced work environment and I loved it. I was working full time and put all my energy into it. 

However, this meant that by the time it was time to go back to uni I was exhausted. 
Overwhelmed I started to avoid any type of responsibility and became the queen of procrastination. I also wasn't really looking after myself, I had stopped exercising, eating well and socialising as much. 

I decided I had to make a change, to pull myself out of my rut. I am all about small changes leading to big ones. These are my top six suggestions for how to change your situation and give yourself a fresh start.

Disappointing Products

I love reading posts about products before I buy them. I like to see how people have found the products and a glowing review will often send me running to buy it. However, I think it is just as important to read and communicate about products that haven't worked so well or that have in some way been disappointing.
