Empties Review
Monday, 29 September 2014
It is time for another empties review! As I said last time I love reading these as you know the products have been well tested. This round I have a few favourites and a few things that just didn't work for me. I hope enjoy reading my review and that I enable a couple of purchases but also a couple of warnings to save your wallet.
Flora by Gucci
This scent is my all time favourite. The packaging of this perfume is so gorgeous! It is classy and simply and travels well. The scent is floral, musky and has an amazing depth to it. What I love so much about Flora is that it's girly, but not sweet. This scent is very warm and I love to wear it all year round. This perfume lasts all day on my skin. I will definitely be repurchasing this one.
China Jasmine Tea by T2
This is a blend of green tea and jasmine blossom. I was surprised at how much I came to really enjoy this tea. I had never been a huge fan of green tea until I got this one. It is refreshing and a lovely change to the tea I usually drink with milk. I would say that if you are thinking about getting into green tea then give this one a go.
Melons a Go-Go Shower Gel by Kit
I had a love hate relationship with this shower gel. The scent of this body wash is just delicious and the colour was a gorgeous watermelon pink. However, it didn't produce the "foaming lather" that it claimed it would. I didn't like the consistency of this shower gel and I was disappointed with this product.
Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Concealer by Maybelline
I had this concealer in the shade ivory and it was my holy grail concealer for a long time. It covers spots incredibly well. I apply a really small amount to any spots and then pat it in to really hide the spot. My favourite thing about this product was that it never inflamed or made my spots any worse. I would recommend this for small blemishes and less is more with this concealer as it can cake up a bit if you use too much.
Grapefruit Brightening Face Wipes by Yes To
These face wipes irritated my skin and made my face incredibly red. I got a slight burning sensation but it was nothing too extreme. These wipes are meant to brighten and exfoliate and they definitely did that. I would use these at night and the next morning my skin was brighter and felt lovely. These wipes exfoliate really well but if you have sensitive skin I wouldn't go near these.
Super Liner Perfect Slim by L'Oréal
This was the first liquid eye liner I ever bought. I loved it so much and it was a really great liner to learn with. It didn't dry out and the packaging is great and easy to use. However, I would suggest the Stilla Stay All Day eye liner over this one though.
Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?

DeleteWill you be repurchasing the concealer? and is it worth buying it? :)

Hey Felicity, I can't decide if I will repurchase it! I do really love it but there are so many other concealers that I want to try. Definitely worth giving it a go, it is great value for money in my opinion.

The perfume sounds like everything I love. I will definitively try it the next time I will go to Sephora.

DeleteOoh you got me interested in the liner. I love liquid, and it's good to find a good drugstore option. I like Kat von d tattoo liner, check it out for a long wearing liquid liner; it's cheaper than stila too!

I really want to try the Kat Von D eye liner! People seem to really love it, thanks for the suggestion.

Thank you that is so lovely of you to say! For this post I used my Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ30, but for the photos which are better quality I have actually borrowed a friends Nikon D5100. I use a website called pic monkey to edit my photos and that makes the world of difference!
DeleteHope this helped :) xx
Pic Monkey is life saver, isn't it?!
DeleteThanks for getting back to me.
