Maybelline Must Haves

Maybelline is a great brand as it is affordable and they have some great products! Considering how reasonably priced these products are I think they're definitely worth a try. I love the packaging of Maybelline products and they are usually very user friendly. Here are my top three Maybelline products to date.




The Falsies Volum' Express
This is my top mascara at the moment. I absolutely love it. I find it gives great length and doesn't clump easily. This mascara lasts all day on me and doesn't irritate my eyes at all. The only downside to this mascara is that I find it isn't that easy to apply to the bottom lashes. I use a mascara with a smaller wand instead for the bottom lashes. But overall I do love this product, and I have repurchased this product twice now as I haven't found anything to match or better it yet.

Baby Lips
This lip balm is one that causes a bit of controversy in the beauty blogging community. Some people love it and some people hate it. I am a lover! I love the texture of this balm so much. It is quite velvety and sits evenly on my lips. I find it very hydrating and it keeps my lips plump and moisturised nicely. They have SPF 15 which is important and especially great for summer. I keep one of these in my bags at all times, it is definitely a must have item for me. 

 Color Tattoo
I love these 24 hour cream gel eyeshadows for many reasons. Firstly, they are just so simple and easy to apply! I often just use my finger and sweep the shadow over my lids, which gives a simple but beautiful look. You can really build these up as well. Sometimes I just apply a light coverage for an understated look, but I do also like a heavier more defined look sometimes. You can also use these as a base, and I find they don't crease on me. I have three shades; Bad to the Bronze, Inked Pink and Tough as Taupe. My favourite colour is without a doubt Bad to the Bronze as it super wearable and looks great with lots of different makeup looks.

    Definitely the Color Whispers. They are my go-to lip products -- super comfortable and flattering. I've been hoping to try the Color Tattoos but I wish they had more color selections. I wish they had a shimmery taupe with a bit of purple (think of Wet n Wild's eyeshadow trio in Silent Treatment - the bottom shade).

    I've heard so many good things about the Colour Tattoos, I really need to pick one up soon! I haven't tried the Baby Lips either, but I'm a lip product addict so I should probably try them out at some point. Great post :)

    Maybelline mascaras are some of the best from the drugstore, and I love the Falsies as well, it really volumises my eyelashes. This reminds me that I need to get another tube of it!

    Everything looks really lovely and the Maybelline eyeshadow is wonderful especially in the warmer weather as you know it won't crease but at the same time doubles up as a wonderful eyeliner! :)
