2014 Listen Out Festival

Listen Out Festival is a one day music festival held in four of the major cities in Australia, and this year I went to the Melbourne festival with 15 of my friends. It was such an amazing day and so I wanted to share a little bit with you guys. 

The atmosphere of the festival was incredible and my favourite three people that I saw were Chet Faker, Flume and Young Fathers. 

The makeup I wore was neutral and waterproof. I like to keep it pretty simple, because the focus is the music and you don't want to be fixing your makeup too much throughout the day.

Also, living in Australia it is extremely important to wear makeup with SPF in it and I couldn't recommend wearing zinc underneath highly enough. I wear the tinted daywear in the shade light by Invisible Zinc. It goes on smoothly and dries practically matte. 

From the Chi Chi nude palette I wore the 9th shade, which is a shimmery brown all over the lid and then I defined the crease with the 5th shade, which is a gorgeous matte brown. 

I also wore some bindis and pink glitter in my hair, just for a bit of fun and to add to the festival look.

I wore three necklaces layered at different lengths and a simple ring. 
Instead of taking a big bag I got this little pouch that I could put over my shoulder so that my hands were free. It was very small and this limits you in what you take, but I liked this as it was light and I don't have to worry about carrying anything.
